  1. I just think this is great, Joe. Shooting the shells on the pad and then using a macro of the pad was a great idea. It's really stunning.

  2. I just had a thought, looking at it again. If you used something like black construction paper under the mat you would completely loose the wood or any other color. It would just be the shells and various shades of blue.

  3. I stacked my phots the way you did the first time around..i really the way that is random. Did you move them and rotate them? It took a while to figure out that I could do that. I love sea shells but then when I get home I never know what to do with them.

  4. The reason I like this collage so much is because there is so much personal meaning to these photos. It's simple, but there is a lot of meaning behind it and it makes it beautiful.

  5. Thanks for the comments people. Like Roy comment about putting something under the mat I never though about it.

  6. You did a really nice job with collage. The images are so cool. I also agree with Amanda. The personal touch shows and makes the display of the collage really beautiful. My husband and I go to Hampton Beach every year and I love taking photos of seashells and other things on the beach. Great job!

  7. I love that you chose to use a picture for the background and left a white border. The sea shells create a very unique look and feel for this collage.

  9. Your shells make it feel like summer, unlike the weather we have right now..
